Skilled Nursing Services

At ACV Health, we strive to provide the best skilled care by encouraging our team to form genuine connections with residents. With the support of skilled nursing services, we give seniors the support they need to live their best lives.

Physician Services

Our medical staff consists of a physician, nurse practitioners, and an excellent team of nurses. A medical doctor or nurse practitioner is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Under the direction of the individual’s physician, a specialized team develops a plan of care for each individual. The needs of the individual are the focal point of all planning, with input from both the resident and the family.

a philosophy of engagement

ACV Health’s emphasis on rehabilitation aims to restore each person to their highest level of functionality. Skilled professionals work diligently with residents to ease the transition of returning home. Good Samaritan Center specializes in individualized skilled nursing care through:

ARTISTS OF DEMENTIA CARE

It’s our belief that quality memory care grants residents opportunities to experience supervised but meaningful independence. Good Samaritan Center’s design and adjoining outdoor courtyards permit members to move about in protected freedom that is both safe and enjoyable.

Our professional, compassionate staff works to provide each of our residents the meaningful life they deserve in a vibrant, caring community.

The state of Florida requires that employees who work directly with members at Good Samaritan Center fulfill a certain number of hours of training relating to Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. At ACV Health we gladly meet that obligation and go beyond with our own intensive training program that we developed based on the book “The Art of Dementia Care,” on dementia and Alzheimer’s care that all staff members are required to complete. Once an employee completes that program and graduates, they become what we call an Artist of Dementia Care.

This specialized training program changes how employees think about people in need of Alzheimer’s and dementia care. It also teaches each staff member how to better help the families of those suffering with memory loss.
